Privacy policy

MAGISTRALIS is a project of ORPHI SpA, Chile, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 76.842.287-7. ORPHI SpA is responsible for processing the personal data used by the platform. For requests concerning your data, contact contacto@magistralis.app.

Data and purpose

We may process account data, subscription status, technical access records and preferences saved on the device. We use them to operate and protect the service, respond to requests and meet legal obligations.

Completing registration requires the first and last names of the person using the account, a confirmed email address, profession or status and country of residence. You may optionally add an institution and a contact telephone number. These details let us manage your account, access controls and membership, contact you about the service and respond to requests or security incidents. Country of residence and other profile details are declared by you; email confirmation does not verify identity, profession or location.

Authorization and registration record

Authorization to process data is requested through its own checkbox, separately from acceptance of the terms. It covers operation and protection of the account and membership, necessary service communications and private administration by authorized personnel. Any institution or telephone number you choose to add is used for the same purposes. This authorization does not include advertising or marketing campaigns.

We record the date, versions of the terms accepted and authorization given, and the action through which they were recorded, as evidence of registration. This policy explains the authorized processing and is available for review. You may request withdrawal of your authorization through the contact email, without retroactive effect; if this prevents processing needed to provide the service, we will explain the consequences for the account. Withdrawal does not remove legal obligations to retain specific data.

Account administration

The founder and personnel with administration permissions can privately view the details supplied in the profile, including institution or telephone number when added, email, profile creation date, completeness, acceptance records and membership status to manage accounts, respond to requests and maintain service access controls. These details are not published in the catalog or shown to other members. This panel does not display passwords or complete payment-method details. A complete profile does not by itself verify identity, professional credentials or location.

Visit counter

To measure visits to the site, we store a random identifier on the device and record when each visit begins. A new visit begins after 30 minutes of inactivity. If a user is signed in, we perform a temporary check to exclude internal administrative visits from the counter; no email address, account or role is stored with the visit. The counter does not record IP addresses or formulas viewed, and stored visits are not linked to accounts. Statistics are accessible only to authorized MAGISTRALIS personnel and, where applicable, technology providers processing them under its instructions.

Payments

Payments are processed by Mercado Pago or, when enabled for the account, PayPal. To create and reconcile the subscription, the account email and an account identifier are shared with the selected provider; MAGISTRALIS records subscription and transaction identifiers, amounts, currency, dates and payment status to manage access and respond to requests. MAGISTRALIS does not store complete card details.
