Terms of use

These terms govern access to and use of MAGISTRALIS. The current version is available for review and can be saved or printed from the browser.

MAGISTRALIS is a project of ORPHI SpA, Chile, Chilean tax ID (RUT) 76.842.287-7, which operates the platform and provides the service. For questions, complaints and requests, contact contacto@magistralis.app.

Nature of the service

MAGISTRALIS is a professional reference platform for pharmaceutical compounding. Its content is informational and does not replace clinical judgment, pharmaceutical validation, review of official sources or applicable regulatory requirements.

The user is responsible for verifying each preparation, dose, concentration, compatibility, storage condition, warning and condition of use before applying the information in professional practice.

Account and free access

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Users must keep their credentials secure and provide truthful, up-to-date information.

A complete profile requires the first and last names of the person using the account, a confirmed email address, profession or status and country of residence. Institution and telephone number are optional. Registration requires acceptance of these terms and separate authorization to process account data for the purposes explained in the Privacy policy; the date and version of each acceptance are recorded. Existing users must complete the required details and acceptances to access features that require a complete profile.

Email confirmation establishes access to that email address. Other profile details are declared by the user: completing the form does not verify identity or professional credentials.

Without an account, you can browse catalog titles and basic information. To view a complete record, you must create a free account, confirm your email and sign in.

Your account includes permanent free access to five selected, fixed records, the same for every user: one each in dermatology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, cosmetics and veterinary compounding. You can reopen them without a limit or expiration. All other complete records require an active membership.

Plans and prices

With Mercado Pago, monthly membership costs CLP $7,990 and annual membership costs CLP $79,900. When PayPal is enabled for the account, monthly membership costs USD $8.29 and annual membership costs USD $82.90. Monthly plans are charged each month and annual plans every twelve months. Before payment, the selected plan, the amount charged, currency, billing frequency and payment provider are shown.

Payments are processed by the enabled provider selected by the subscriber: Mercado Pago or PayPal. MAGISTRALIS does not store complete card details or other payment-method details entered on those platforms.

Automatic renewal

Membership renews automatically at the selected frequency and is charged to the registered payment method until the subscriber cancels it. Any price change will be communicated before renewal, will not affect periods already paid for and will be applied in accordance with the law; the subscriber may cancel before the next charge.

Cancellation

The subscriber may cancel at any time from Account → Your membership → Cancel subscription. Cancellation prevents new automatic charges, but access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

Early cancellation does not, by itself, entitle the subscriber to a proportional refund for the current period, without prejudice to non-waivable consumer rights and any refunds due for duplicate, unauthorized or improper charges.

Withdrawal and refunds

MAGISTRALIS does not exclude the right of withdrawal. For services purchased remotely, you may terminate the contract unilaterally, without stating a reason, within ten days after contracting and before provision of the service begins. For this purpose, provision begins when MAGISTRALIS notifies you, through the method used to contract or another method you freely selected, that the membership is active. If you do not receive written confirmation of the contract, the period for exercising withdrawal is extended to ninety days.

You may exercise withdrawal through the same methods used to contract or by writing to contacto@magistralis.app, with the information needed to identify the transaction. MAGISTRALIS will return, without withholding expenses, sums paid that do not correspond to services already provided, as soon as possible and, in all cases, within 45 days after notice.

Rejected payments

Membership is not considered paid until the payment provider confirms the charge. A failed charge does not extend access, but any previous paid period that remains valid is preserved. A full refund or reversal of the charge supporting access may invalidate that period, without prejudice to consumer rights under applicable law.

Availability and content

MAGISTRALIS may correct, update or expand the content and perform necessary maintenance. Uninterrupted service is not guaranteed at all times, but we will endeavor to restore it promptly.

Privacy

Personal-data processing is governed by our Privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be communicated before they take effect, will not alter periods already paid for and will be applied in accordance with the law. The conditions applicable to each charge are those communicated when the membership is purchased or renewed, as applicable.
